LA SÉRIGRAPHIE

The “Sérigraphie” is a former industrial building now inhabited by artists, characterized by its mushroom-column structure. Its rehabilitation is part of a wider urban masterplan focused on water, connectivity, and social interaction.
The project proposes a public square and a Rhine River Discovery Center built using materials from a demolished structure, creating a cross-border cultural meeting point between France and Germany. A defining wall shapes the square and recalls historic Alsatian streets. The museum entrance is located in a new lower-level building connected to the existing basement, with the exhibition path ending on the ground floor of the original structure.
